Jane Goutermout Obituary

COPENHAGEN- Jane Eveline Goutermout, 93, of Pickney Corners Road died peacefully on the evening of Monday, April 15, 2024, at her home under the care of her loving family.  She was born on March 24, 1931, to the late Chester & Sarah (Williams) Wesseldine in Utica, New York. She attended Clinton School and was a general office worker.

Per her wishes, her services will be private and she will be buried alongside her husband in the Evergreen Cemetery in Barnes Corners.

She married James H. Goutermout on December 20, 1958. Mr. Goutermout died on March 4, 1992.

Jane is survived by her two sons, Joseph (Shelly) Goutermout of Copenhagen NY, and John (Peggy) Goutermout of Bergen, NY; a daughter, June (Harlow) Dibble, Copenhagen; and her seven grandchildren, Jessica Goutermout, Jennifer Shoemaker, Jevon Goutermout, Michael Garvin, Aaron Garvin, Ryan Garvin, and Ashley Brasie; along with 12-Great-Grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Wesseldine of Clinton, NY.

Jane was an avid antique collector and was known for her travels, always looking to add to her collection.
