Watertown, NY – Paul H. Martin, 73, died peacefully at the Samaritan Medical Center on Thursday Evening, October 12, 2023. He was born on June 30, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Irving “Buddy” & Harriet (Hall) Martin. Paul grew up in Freeport, Long Island along with his five siblings.

Per her wishes, he will be cremated. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Paul was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War in Germany.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, and just being on the water.  He worked as a truck driver and cab driver retiring due to a disability.

He leaves behind a daughter, Elissa (Martin) Wilson, Carthage, and his grandchildren, Elijah, Ethan, Isaac, and Logan. His three siblings, John, of Lancaster, South Carolina; Yvonne of Greer, South Carolina; Gail of, Lehigh Acres, Florida; along with several nieces, nephews, and multiple very close friends.

Paul’s humor and kindness will be missed greatly by those who knew him best. He was a funny, soft-hearted sensitive man who was always willing to help others. He enjoyed baking cheesecakes and cooking to share meals with others.

He is predeceased by his parents along with his two brothers, Jeff & Daniel.
