Carron Spencer Obituary

CARTHAGE- Carron A. Spencer, 68, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2023, at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY surrounded by her loved ones.

Carron was born on December 28, 1954, in Carthage, NY. She graduated from Carthage High School.

She married Donald Spencer in Black River in 2001. Earlier in her career, she worked as a medical receptionist in Watertown, NY and she retired as a bus aide from Carthage Central School District.

Carron is survived by her children, Kacee (Tom) Delles, Jarron (James) Vernum, and a stepson, Chad Spencer, along with Several siblings, her sisters, Cris Wright, and Cathy McKenna, her brothers, Calvin Foster, Tim Foster, Craig Foster, and Ray Foster. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gage and Maveric, along with her step-grandchildren, Kameron, and Kaylee Spencer.

People that knew her knew she lived life to the fullest.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, seeking out a good bargain, gardening, and listening to her audiobooks. She also looked forward to spending the winters in Florida with her siblings.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Black River American Legion located at 113 E Dexter St, Black River, NY 13612. If you would like to contribute to the family feel free to bring a covered dish to share at the celebration.
