Barbara J. Dobransky

CARTHAGE- Barbara Dobransky, 88, formerly of NYS Rte. 26 died peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023, in Saratoga, New York. She was born on June 24, 1935, in Evans Mills to the late George and Ethel (Chamberlain) Goodridge.

Barbara worked various jobs throughout her life. Most recently she was employed by Gary’s Pub in Great Bend, New York. She married Harry Dobranksy on August 24, 1963, in Calcium.

Barbara is survived by her children, Kevin & Jamie Clemons, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; Cathie Petrie, Carthage, Karen (Forist) Brockway, Carthage; Dana Dobransky, New Mexico; DeeAnn (Larry) Bamburg, Pitkin, Louisiana; Derek (Emily) Dobranksy (Dirty Bird), Carthage; Vicki Dobransky, Carthage; Mark (Jackie) Dobransky, Carthage; two sisters, Betty Wishoff, Evans Mills, and Shirley Sly, Rochester; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, George, and Ethel Goodridge; her husband, Harry Dobransky; a previous husband, Murlin Clemons; her sisters, Rosetta Fredricks, Arlene Smith, and Carolyn Archer; her brother, Lonnie Tranham; and a grandson, Devin Dobransky.

Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, quick draw, cards, going to casinos, and spending time with her beloved family.

A private funeral service will be held by the family on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Lundy Funeral Home. Donations in Barbara’s name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital
