Lowville- Alice A. Campany, 91, of State Route 26 died peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, surrounded by her family at the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. located at 500 State Street in Carthage, NY 13619. A Funeral Service will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Lowville in the Spring. She will be buried in the spring in the Hillside Cemetery in Natural Bridge, NY.

She was born on August 20, 1932, in Natural Bridge to the late William and Mildred (Hungerford) Arnold. She attended Natural Bridge and West Carthage Schools.

Alice married Gordon Campany of Indian River on October 14th, 1953, in Carthage. She worked for 19 years at Bomax Manufacturing in Watertown.

She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, reading, attending family get-togethers, with her grandchildren who hold a special place in her heart. Alice attended the Assembly of God Church in Lowville and was extremely devoted to her faith.

She is survived by her husband, Gordan Campany, Denmark; her children, Debora (Philip) Nortz, Martinsburg, and Terry Campany and his significant other, Judy, Lowville; a sister, Rose (Jim) Neddo; six grandchildren, Christina Hellinger and her fiance Shawn Tiffany of Lowville, Jackie Barrows of Oxford, Charity Nortz and her fiancé, Jim Trainham II. of Glenfield, Mike (Elizabeth) Nortz of Knoxville, MD, Matt Nortz and his significant other, Erica Farney, of Glenfield, and Tyler Nortz and his fiance Vikki Sessions, of Lowville; one step-grandson, Rob Campany, Carthage; along with twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Alice is predeceased by her parents; a sister, Ilene; three brothers, Bernard Arnold, Myron Arnold, and Stephen Arnold; and a brother, Wilfred, whom passed in childhood.
