Wayne Brown

Wayne Brown, 83, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, while under the care of Hospice of St. Lawrence County

Wayne was born on July 12, 1942, in Geneva, NY, to the late Maynard and Madeline (Washburn) Brown. He graduated from Clifton-Fine Central School.

He married Joyce Marie Mudgett, the love of his life, on March 28, 1964.

Wayne attended SUNY Canton and received a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. Wayne worked as a field and electrical engineer for nearly his whole life. Working for Siemens Westinghouse took him traveling all over the United States and many places in Europe.

Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at home in Illinois and out on their beloved cabin in Cranberry Lake.

Wayne is survived by his children, Brian, Carol, and Lynne, all of Illinois; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Joyce; his parents, Maynard and Madeline; and a brother.
