FRANKFORT - Vincent C. Perretta, 67, 319 Railroad St., died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 6th, while camping with his family at Lake George, NY.
Born in Utica on August 29, 1948, the son of the late John and Mary Zelie Perretta. After high school he served with the United States Air Force from 1968 - 72. He then went to work at the Remington Arms Factory in Ilion, NY until his retirement as a gun tester in 2011. He was widowed in 1990; his daughter Katrina Noone also predeceased him.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Trishalana & Michael Lincoln, Black River, his grandchildren; Gage and his wife, Talia Thompson, Mackenzie Thompson, Ashton Vinson, Dylan Lincoln, Tiffany Lincoln, Jasmine Lincoln and Makayla Lincoln and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Anthony Perretta, Croghan, his nephew and his wife, John & Gina Perretta, Lowville, his half-brother, James Perretta, Utica and his 3 step daughters, Shelly Sumner, Windy Elthrop and Beth Elthrop.
Vincent enjoyed camping, hunting, snowmobiling, fishing, classic cars and geocaching. He always said he was a "Jack of all Trades, Master of None" but his family always considered him a master of all.
He will be very missed by all his family and friends.
