Tina Hosmer

CARTHAGE Tina Rose Hosmer, 58, of 222 State St., passed away in the early hours of Friday, May 31, 2019 at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital.
Tina was born on October 19, 1960 in Carthage, New York, daughter of the late Wheeler N. and Minnie (Donoghue) Hosmer. She graduated from Carthage Central School and moved to North Carolina soon after. She stayed there for about 20 years, before moving back home to New York. She was primarily a homemaker due to her long-lasting illness.
She enjoyed reading, especially Danielle Steel books, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Danielle (Shawn) Suscie of Canton and Jessica Lady of Greensboro, NC; five sisters, Peggy Hosmer of New Bremen; Clara Hosmer of Carthage; Patricia (Valence) Peets of Carthage; Susan VanAernam of Philadelphia, NY; and Caroline Johnson of West Carthage; seven brothers, Marshall (Linda) Hosmer of Baldwinsville; Lloyd Hosmer of Witchita Falls, TX; Terry Hosmer of Witchita Falls, TX; Jerry Hosmer of Witlherbee, NY; Keith Hosmer of Plant City, FL; Allen Hosmer of Carthage; and Leo Hosmer of Carthage; as well as three grandchildren.
Tina is predeceased by a sister, Nancy Hosmer and two brothers, Bruce and Norman Hosmer.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on June 8, 2019 at the Highrise in Carthage at a time to be announced. Burial will be held later in Sunnyside Cemetery, Naumburg.
