HARRISVILLE - Timothy Charles Ayers, 70, passed away at the Carthage Area Hospital on Monday, January 2, 2023, after becoming ill months prior to his passing.
Born in West Carthage, NY on April 23, 1952. The son of Robert Ayers and Joyce Prievo (Ayers) who passed before him. He attended Carthage Central School District. Timothy and Dorene Mono (Ayers) were married on June 28, 1980. Before his passing, they were together for 50 years and happily married for 42 of those years. He had worked many odd jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed the outdoors, as well as his passion for drawing, hunting, fishing, and trapping. Throughout his later years, Timothy had a bigger passion. Up until his passing, his love for fishing helped him in creating his own flies for fly fishing. His passion did not go unnoticed. His son Branden Ayers as well as his grandson Jase Jones will continue to keep Timothy's passion alive.
Survivors include his wife Dorene; their three sons: Timothy Ayers Jr., Kansas, Shannon Ayers, Branden Ayers and companion Andreana Eggan, Harrisville, NY. Their four daughters: Tracy Moore and companion Carlous Hardeman, Washington State, Mandy Ayers, Ohio, Jessie Jones (Jiggs Jones) Theresa, NY, Natashia Burkhart and companion Michael Lyons, Ohio. Timothy was blessed with 21 Grandchildren: Timothy Ayers III, Ariel Ayers, Dakota Ayers, Logan Moore, Brianna Moore, Natalie Moore, Cheyenne Ayers, Courtney Moore, Collyn Baker, Hallie Baker, Lilly Baker, Paige Ayers, Noah Ayers, Dylan Poole, Marissa Jones, Taylor Jones, Jase Jones, Leahanna Burkhart, Everleigh Lyons, Kaylin Ayers and Alanna Ayers. Timothy was also blessed with 11 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 12 noon - 1 pm at Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State Street, Carthage, NY with The Rev. Canon Samuel P. Lundy officiating. There will be no calling hours.
The family has invited you to join them for a spaghetti dinner benefit following the services at 1 pm at the Carthage VFW, 668 West End Ave. Carthage, NY, 13619 in celebrating the life of Timothy.
