Steven Alexander

Steven Lewis Alexander, 66, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on March 29, 2025, surrounded by his dearest family and friends, after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. He was born March 20, 1959, in Watertown, NY.In 1983, Steven married his best friend and love of his life, Susan Britt in Gulfport, FL. They were married for 42 years and had four children, Angela Alexander (Chris), Jennel Munsell, Zachary Alexander, and Brayden Alexander, who he loved dearly. He was a devoted father and husband who enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He shared a love of many things with his wife and kids. They would often go fishing, attend concerts, baseball games, and hockey games. He was an avid Syracuse basketball fan and collector of old toys. In more recent years, he found great enjoyment playing slots at the casino.He was a master electrician who founded Alexander Electric in 2004. He built a loyal customer base through his dedication, integrity, and unparalleled skills. He was a graduate of Copenhagen Central School in Lewis County, New York in 1977, where he excelled in science and business. He was on the varsity teams for tennis, basketball, and soccer. He also enjoyed chorus, music, and band.In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his father, Lewis Alexander (Lillian); brother, Scott Alexander (Gail); as well as his cherished granddaughters, Delilah, October, and Zoey. He also leaves behind a wide circle of loved ones from his deeply connected family and friends.He was preceded in death by Barbara Parker (mother), Irene Lanpher (grandmother), George Alexander (grandfather), Myrtle Files (grandmother), Thomas Parker (grandfather), Lance Alexander (nephew), and Scott Munsell (son-in-law).
