Stanley Grabowski

Watertown- Stanley Grabowski, 80, died peacefully on Saturday evening, June 28, 2025 at Hospice of Jefferson County.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.

Stanley was born on December 4, 1944, in Alder Creek to the late Stanley and Annie Grabowski. He worked at several Logging companies in the Boonville area, Clayville Ice Plant, and Beutel Recyclers. He was also employed at John Tanquay Landscaping in Connecticut.

He lived with companion, Rose Beutel, for over twenty years until her passing in 2018. They moved to Florida for several years during their time together. While living in Florida, Stanley worked at Allen’s Used Auto Parts in Tampa for a number of years.

Stanley will be missed by friends, family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his children; Sonja (Grabowski) Downing of Port Leyden, Timothy Grabowski of Port Leyden, Heidi Williamson of Boonville, Mona and James Smith of Remsen; three step- daughters/sons, Ann M. Beutel and Hans “Chuck” Luck of Carthage; Susan (pre-deceased) and Michael Hutchinson of Lorraine; Corina and William Nemier of Pierrepont Manor; his sisters; Josephine Hitchcock of Florida and Shirley Grabowski; his brother; Joe Grabowski of North Carolina; his sister-in-law; Judy Grabowski of Massachusetts; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his companion; Rose “Rosie” Beutel; former spouse: Nancy Grabowski; his parents; Stanley and Annie Grabowski; his sons; Stanley Grabowski III and Eric Grabowski; and his brother; John Grabowski.
