Sheila Ann Costello

Sheila Ann Costello, age 80, 22079 Patricia Drive, Watertown, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Carthage Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Carthage, NY, where she had been a resident for a short time.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, she was born on February 7, 1946, to Alice Helen Costello. She was previously married to William Skidmore, which ended in divorce, and was predeceased by her husband, Frank Costello.

Throughout her career, Sheila held various positions, including waitressing, working for Kodak, and serving at the Hollywood Dog Track and Flea Market in Hollywood, Florida. In her leisure time, she found joy in playing Bingo and crocheting.

She is survived by her children, Steven (Priscilla) Skidmore of Calcium, Thomas “Tommy” (Leaf) Skidmore of California, and Christopher Skidmore of Utica. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kevin and Taylor, and a special niece, Danielle Allport.

A celebration of life service will be announced and held at a later date.
