Ogdensburg, NY - Robin Costigan, 66, passed away peacefully at Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing on March 2, 2026, while surrounded by her loved ones.
As per Robin's wishes, no calling hours or funeral services are to be held. A burial will take place in the spring at Lisbon Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her father, Harry.
Robin is survived by her companion of 32 years, Billy Adams; her sister, Wendy (Timmy) Ladouceur and Kelly (Todd) Miller; a brother, Sean (Jeannette) Costigan; nieces and nephews, Courtney (Ladouceur) Hake, Nicole (Ladouceur) Rozell, Jordan Miller, Drew Costigan, and Brooke Costigan; an uncle, George Handley; a cousin, Bobby Costigan; Ricky and Julie (McCormick) Mason and their family.
Robin is predeceased by her father, Harry and her mother, Elizabeth (Handley) Costigan; a niece, Sara Elizabeth Miller; a grandfather, Bub Handley; an uncle, Dick Handley; an aunt, Barbara Handley; and Jay Carter.
Robin was born on January 16, 1960, in Ogdensburg, NY; the daughter of Harry and Betty Costigan. Robin attended Lisbon Central School, graduating in 1978 - while in school, she participated in soccer, softball, and was in the marching band, as the Drum Majorette. After graduating, she went on to work at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center.
In 1980, Robin was involved in a motor vehicle accident, resulting in serious injuries. Despite having all odds against her, she pulled through and lived out the rest of her life to the fullest, surrounded by those who loved her. Robin always had a smile on her face and had a laugh that could be heard from a mile away.
She enjoyed going on vacations to Disney World, Myrtle Beach, and Hershey Park. She loved bowling, playing Uno, atteding parties and dancing to music, all while being able to enjoy a Rum and Coke.
Robin leaves behind family and friends who will miss her presence tremendously each day.
We would like to thank Billy Adams and his family for loving Robin and taking such great care of her over the years. 'Til we meet again, Robin.
Arrangements are with Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State Street, Carthage, NY 13619. Condolences can be made online at www.lundyfuneralhome.com
