Watertown- Olga O. Emerson 89, of 420 South Meadow Street, died peacefully on January 18, 2023, at the Samaritan Medical Center, She was born on April 13, 1933, in Mexico to the late Herman and Augustina (Carabajal) Ornelas. A marriage to Terry Emerson brought her to the states, where she was gainfully employed and retired from the housekeeping department of the Samaritan Keep Home in Watertown NY. The marriage lasted from August 9, 1970, to March 1992, before ending in divorce. She is survived by her two daughters, Juanita Reardon (husband Michael) of Watertown and Renee Pastor of Lorraine. She has six grandchildren: Ashley Moseley of Richland, Jordan Reardon, Taylor Reardon, Jonathan Reardon, and all of Watertown. Nelson Pastor of Virginia and Skylar Pastor of Long Island NY. She also has 3 great-grandchildren: Faith and Harry Moseley and Thomas Pastor.
Olga was deeply devoted to the care of her family and will always be cherished for bringing warmth and kindness to wherever she went. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her the most peace and enjoyment. She will be remembered for being a hardworking, caring, and loving mother and grandmother. Per her request, there will be no memorial or funeral service but a celebration of her love, warmth, and kindness will take place to commemorate the impact she's had on all her loved ones' lives.
