WEST CARTHAGE-Michele L. Desrosiers, 64, of 40 North Broad Street, died on Thursday evening, September 21, 2017 at her home.
Michele was born on March 9, 1953 in Natural Bridge, NY a daughter of the late Russell & Geraldine E. Campbell Desrosiers. Michele was a 1971 graduate of Carthage Central School, a 1996 graduate of the University of Mississippi, and a 1991 SUNY Jefferson Community College, and a 1993 graduate of SUNY Oswego, with a MS in Human Relations. She held many jobs; she worked at the University of Mississippi, Elvis Presley's Graceland, and recently retired from the Carthage Free Library, Carthage, NY.
She is survived by a daughter, Kristina E. Champ, Monterey, California; a son, Eric T. Rattan Francmano Bay, Arizona; a sister, Sharon (David) Johnson, Carthage; one granddaughter, Samantha Champ, Monterey California; two grandsons, Brandon and Ethan Champ, all of Monterey, California; a brother, Gary R. Paul, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is also survived by 3-nephews, Todd (April) LaRock, Troy (Tammy) LaRock, and Travis (Mandy) LaRock, all of Carthage. She was predeceased from her maternal grandparents, Chester and Betty Smith.
Michele was a traveler and a dreamer; Ireland was her next goal. She loved her cats, Pepper and Pixie Styx, and she loved to read. She was a gifted crafter; sewing, knitting, and crochet, and embroidery.

A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Hillside Cemetery, Natural Bridge. There will be no public calling hours.
