Margaret Ann Berkhouse

Margaret Ann Berkhouse, age 79 of Natural Bridge, NY, formerly of Bradford, passed away on June 30, 2026, in Carthage, NY.

Per her wishes, there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.

Born September 20, 1946, in Bradford, she was the daughter of late Herbert William and Elaine Eloise (Paul) Confer Sr.

Margaret worked for Bradford Electronics and Zippo Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she loved her cat Buggy and Elvis Presley.

Surviving is one daughter, Jennifer (Sammy) Miller of Natural Bridge; five grandchildren, James, Jaxon & Jaylynn Peffer and Ashley Jensen & Kayla Bennett; one sister, Sue Wilt of Bradford, and one brother, Herbert William Confer Jr of Rew, and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter Deana Fento of New York, her sister Chloe Miller of Michigan, and Terri Berkhouse of Bradford.
