CARTHAGE, N.Y. - Madeleine Jean Herman, 69, of 26105 Route 3, formerly of Carthage, died Tuesday, July 28, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. Born July 17, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Ray W. and Emma Aretha Brown Lloyd, she graduated from General McLane High School in Erie Co., Pennsylvania.
She married David "Danny" Herman in July 1964 in Girard, PA. The couple moved to Carthage to be near their daughter. Mr. Herman died March 9, 2003.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Ray Herman, Watertown, and Brian David Herman, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Michelle Ellen Taylor, Watertown, her sister, Nancy Dutton, Ohio; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband and a brother, Ray Lloyd, Jr. Visitation will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, July 31, at Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St, Carthage.
