Lisa L. Lane

Carthage – Lisa L. “Lois” Lane, 57, of Emjay Way passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1st, 2024, after being stricken at home at the Carthage Area Hospital.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. Located at 500 State Street in Carthage, NY 13619. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 6:00 pm with the Reverand Canon, Samuel P. Lundy, officiating.

Lisa was born on November 11th, 1966, in Watertown to the late Marlene Weaver. She graduated from Carthage High School.

Lisa was primarily a homemaker and she enjoyed puzzles, rummage sales, and spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed participating in the game known as “Kindness Rocks”, and found joy in discovering painted rocks that others hid and hiding some rocks of her own.

She is survived by her children, Kyle (Brittany) Lane of Carthage, Kari Elliot of Carthage, and Justin Elliott of Watertown, NY. Her siblings, Brenda (John) Chubb of Virginia; Michael & Deborah Flint, Vernon Connecticut. Todd Lane of Connecticut; Mary Jane (Barron Cromartie) Barlow of Carthage; and Carrie Lynn Ward of Carthage.  Her longtime companion, Brian Trombley, her grandchildren, Carson Lane, Black River; Aiden Elliott, Rochester; and Shiner Newbill, of Carthage; and many special nieces and nephews whom she adored.

She is predeceased by her mother, Marlene Weaver,
