WATERTOWN- Kenneth David Hart, 77, of Route 37, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, February 9, 2024, at the Samaritan Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Evans Mills Fire Department from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, located at 8615 LeRay St, Evans Mills, NY 13637.
Kenneth was born to the late Irving & Florence (Brigham) Hart on August 10, 1946, in Watertown, NY. He attended school in Watertown. He married Judy Jones on January 20, 1967, at the First Methodist Church in Watertown.
Started the business of Ken & Lou’s with Lou Mosher that same year, eventually known as Harts’ Towing & Repair where his son Stephen and he formed a partnership. Retiring in March of 2016. Later he had a small wood business that he enjoyed alongside his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Hart, Watertown; a son Richard Hart; Watertown; his adopted son, Chris Davis. His grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, Bradley, Brittney, Cora & Karrissa, and a great-grandson, Carson. A brother William (Annitah) Hart, his loving niece, Robin (Paul) Bibey, and a nephew Michael (Tracey) Hart.
Kenneth is predeceased by his parents Florence & Irving Hart, his beloved brothers, Daniel Richard Hart, and Theodore “Ted” Hart, and his loving son Stephen K. Hart at the age of 35 who meant the world and more to him.
Kenneth was a hard worker, he loved spending time with his family and friends, he enjoyed telling them stories of all the tasks he had done, and he loved his animals, especially Shadow who lived to be 20.
