Boonville- Janel M. Shaw, 36, who resided at 232 Academy Street, formerly of Lowville, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica.
She was born on April 22, 1980 in Carthage, to Walter H. & Rena A. Persha Shaw, Jr. Janel attended Carthage High School. She previously was employed in the maintenance department of the Lewis County General Hospital.
Janel is survived by one daughter, Anastasia Mae Shaw, one sister, Nicole Cornell, Lowville, one brother and his wife, Scott & Shannon Shaw, Croghan, one niece, Alissa Cornell and three nephews, Seth Shaw, Shaun Shaw, and George Cornell, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her mother and her father.
Janel enjoyed reading, adult coloring books, and crafting. She was also an avid music listener.
