CARTHAGE, NY - Isabelle Passage, 82, of 130 N. James St., Carthage, NY, died Saturday evening, May 14, 2016, at the Hospice House of Jefferson County in Watertown, NY.
Born Jan. 29, 1934, in West Winfield, NY, the daughter of Alonzo and Clara Langdon Passage, she attended local schools.
She worked in the dietary department of the Carthage Area Hospital for almost 30 years. She was a very hard worker who walked everyday, back and forth from work at the Hospital.
She was also a very giving person, who enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and playing games.
Surviving are two sons, Alonzo Passage, Carthage, and Edward Passage, Florida, along with her grandson and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lonzo Passage, Newport, NY and two great grandsons and a great-granddaughter; a brother and his wife, John and Estelle Passage, Carthage; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, George Passage, Leon Passage, Maude Jones, Willis Passage and Cora Windover.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, May 20, in the chapel of the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage, with Rev. Roger Mono officiating. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral, from 1 to 3 p.m Friday. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Carthage.
