Evelyn Thomas

Watertown - Evelyn Thomas, 63, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, while at Hospice of Jefferson County with her beloved family by her side.

A graveside service will take place in the spring, where she will be laid to rest in Malone, New York.

Evelyn was born on April 30, 1962, in Syracuse to the late William and Beverly (Brown) Spinner. She worked for a variety of places in the North Country, most often in Clayton and Alexandria Bay.

Evelyn was an avid crafter and enjoyed any projects where she was able to create with her hands. She also had quite a knack for couponing and budgeting. You could often find Evelyn in her happy place, playing with her cats and watching her favorite TV show, Heartland. Most of all, Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her significant other of 28 years, Glenn Davis; her children, George (Misty) Thomas of Redwood, Elizabeth (Thomas) Runkles of Watertown, and Danielle (Antonio Stallings Sr) Hartman of Watertown; a brother, George Spinner of Virginia; and twelve grandchildren.
