David Hutchins

Lowville - David Hutchins, 50, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center while surrounded by his family.

Per his wishes, there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held on May 3rd, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the 3G Fire Hall, located at 6229 Blue Street, Glenfield, NY 13343.

David was born on September 27, 1975, in Lowville to Stanley and Shirley (Kiser) Hutchins. After graduating from Adirondack Central School, David went on to work a variety of jobs in the North Country. Most notably, David enjoyed his work at Timeless Frames in Watertown, where he worked for some time.

David married the love of his life, Mary Burr, on July 8, 2006.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his children, Madison and Dylan Hutchins; his siblings, Stanley Jr. and Julie of Constableville, Ann and Harold Glouse Jr. of Boonville, Donald “Tim” of Boonville, Sandra Bender of Castorland, Steve of Boonville, Douglas and Lorrie of Constableville, Laura McCaw of Boonville, and Amy and Richard De Vaul of Carthage; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Shirley; a brother, Barry; a sister, Karen; an infant sister, Brenda; and a brother-in-law, Alfred.

David loved everything about music. Whether it was listening to it, creating his own, or learning everything he could about it, David had a deep passion for it. He also enjoyed being outdoors, often going for hikes alongside Mary. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
