David W Hardy

Fulton - David W. Hardy, 79, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, while at St. Luke Health Services.

David was born on August 21, 1945, in West Carthage to the late Floyd and Madeline (Hutchins) Hardy.

David graduated from Jefferson Community College with an Associate's degree in 1967 and went on to graduate from Utica College of Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy in 1970. Following this, he went on to accomplish some additional schooling in a graduate program through SUNY Oswego and Syracuse University.

David worked as a probation officer for Oswego County, where he eventually retired. He was a former member of the NYS Probation Officer’s Association and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by a son, Jason Michael Hardy of Oswego, NY.

He is predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Madeline Hardy; his sister, Marilyn McCoige.
