Carthage - Christopher R. LaComb Jr., 44, passed away from Red Man’s Syndrome on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, while at Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury in Lake Katrine, NY, where he had been a patient for some time.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 12, 2024, from 1:00-4:00 pm at the New Bremen Fire Hall, 8154 State Route 812Lowville, NY 13367. The family asks if you can please bring a dish to pass.
Christopher was born in Carthage on December 18th, 1979, to Christopher LaComb Sr. and Cynthia (Potter) LaComb. He graduated from Carthage Central School in 1999 and worked as a farmhand and then for Lewis County Industries up until 2019.
Before being involved in a snowmobile accident in 1999, Christopher was an avid hunter. He could often be found working and hunting at his aunt’s farm, or playing computer games. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his children.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Cindy; his children, Hailey LaComb of Watertown, Ashton LaComb of Copenhagen, Kailey Lacomb of Carthage, and Christopher LaComb III of Carthage; his siblings, Joni (Tracy) Snyder of Lowville, Michelle (Danial) Nickles of Watson, and Susan Potter of Carthage; his nephews, Benjamin Snyder; and Tracy Snyder III., his nieces, Rebecca Snyder, Laura Snyder, and Abbigayle Nickles; two great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
