CARTHAGE - Cassandra L. Ortmann 70, formerly of Lakeland, Florida and of 38 N. Broad St. Carthage, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Hospice Home in Watertown.
She was born on August 5, 1946 to Lloyd Henry & Mary Dawley Scarbrough in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Brewster High School in Tampa. She was a Heavy Equipment Sales Operator in the Lakeland Area until she retired in 2010 and moved to Carthage with her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Deena Carr, Carthage; a son, Donald Mark Boothe, Florida; 2 grandchildren, Donald Lloyd Carpenter, Carthage; Makenzie Korn, Germany, 1 - great-granddaughter, Isabella Johnson.
Per her request, she will be cremated and her services will be held at a later date.
