Carol A. Mullany

DEXTER—Carol A. Mullany, age 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at her home, The ARC Jefferson St. Lawrence, under the loving care of her family. 

Born on October 11, 1948, to the late Gerald and Virginia (Wetsig) Mullany, Carol attended school in Carthage. She found great joy in making potholders, dancing, crossword puzzles, everything Elvis, and visiting with her friends and family.

Carol previously worked with the agency (The ARC) before moving to Indian Lake. She then lived there for a number of years before finding her forever home at IRA 301 in Dexter in 2018.

She is survived by her sister, Tina (Gary) Neddo of Carthage, as well as three nephews and a niece. Carol was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert Mullany, who passed away in 1989.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with the Reverand Todd Thibault, officiating on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., located at 500 State Street, Carthage, NY 13619. Her burial is scheduled for the spring on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Carthage.
