Carol Foster

Carthage- Carol Foster, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, June 6, 2024, at the Carthage Area Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She formerly resided in Okeechobee, Florida, and Herrings, New York.

Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 15^th, 2024, at the Deferiet Union Church. Her burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Carthage, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband Robert. 

Carol was born on July 17^th, 1937, to the late Carl and Bernice (Wing) Eddy. She graduated from Carthage High School in 1955. She married Robert Foster on February 5^th, 1955, and they were married for 63 years before Robert’s passing on May 13, 2018.

Carol was a great mother and homemaker. She was very active in her church and did volunteer work in her younger years.

Carol is survived by her children, Kim (Sharon) Foster, Dexter; Ronald (Sherie) Foster, Copenhagen; and a daughter-in-law Jean Foster, Liverpool; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert R. Foster on June 13, 2018, along with her two sons, Kent Foster and Donald “Donnie” Foster.
