Carl Robert Johnson

Formerly of Carthage- Carl Robert Johnson, 59, passed away quietly on October 28th, 2024, at his home in Fort Myers, Florida in the company of his wife Donna Forster Johnson.

He was born to Kenneth H. & Nancy E. (Butts) Johnson on June 5th, 1965. Carl graduated from Carthage High School in 1984. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked at Malette Sheet Metal and the Fort Drum Recreation Center. Carl then moved to Florida with some friends where he met his wife and together, they owned and operated her family Greyhound adoption agency. Additionally, Carl also ran a lawn care business for 20-plus years.

Carl is survived by his wife Donna Johnson of Fort Myers, Florida, his parents Ken and Nancy Johnson of Carthage, his brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Kelly Johnson of Carthage, his brother and life partner Ryan Johnson and Diane O'Meara of Carthage, and nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by an infant brother Gary Johnson, and sister, LeiLani Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the family's convenience at a later date.
