Ann Bishop

Carthage - Ann Bishop, 89, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, while at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 am at Lundy Funeral Home, located at 500 State St, Carthage, NY 13619. A burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery following the service, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Robert.

Ann was born on May 9, 1936, on Grindstone Island to the late David and Hildred (Dano) Garnsey.

After her schooling, she was employed at a variety of places in Northern New York, including at Lollies Manufacturing in Herrings, NY, and as a Nurse’s Aide for Greenbriar Nursing Home in Carthage, NY.

She is survived by her children, Chyrel (Bill) Green, Darlene (John) Houppert, and Cindy (Christopher) Addley, eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and a brother, Floyd (Gloria) Garnsey Weatherly, PA, 

Ann is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Bishop, her brother David Garnsey, and her grandson Toby Houppert
